"Narrating human rights through film" training
Within the framework of the festival, a 1-day training course for film writers and producers will be held and 50 young filmmakers will be involved. In the course, international film festival judges and human rights experts participated in lectures and practical work on how to reflect human rights issues in films, what risks may occur, how to overcome them, interesting real-life examples, and how to turn stories into good scripts and exchange ideas. In the future, we will focus on creating opportunities to help artists who intend to make films on human rights issues through human rights and professional communication.
In addition to human rights lawyers, Mongolian film teachers and researchers, the festival's honored guests, two-time Oscar award-winning director Malcolm Clarke and famous Korean director Chung Ji Young and others will host sessions at the training to share their real experiences.
Training will start at 08.45 a.m on 09 December 2023. Registration on website: www.kharkhorum-iff.com or 88106865
