"Declaring Human rights through Cinema" forum

The forum will be held with the participation of human rights defenders, experts, academics, and filmmakers. In addition to the participation of 100 people in person, it will also be broadcasted live on broadcast television, websites and YouTube channels, and will involve citizens widely to enables participation of all stakeholders including festival guests, filmmakers, human rights experts, and representatives of civil society organizations. The Forum aims to provide a platform for all participants to discuss and voice human rights issues facing humanity today, to increase public awareness of human rights, and to foster a positive attitude towards human rights issues. There will be adopted a recommendation from forum calling filmmakers to be human rights sensitive in their professional work.

Film festival foreign guests, representatives of government and human rights organizations will make presentations and participate in discussions of the forum, such as Mrs. Han Yi, multi-winner or international film festivals and renowned documentary film producer will do a presentation on the importance of documentaries in regards to promoting human rights.
