SYNOPSIS: Jam is a young adult with Down syndrome, born in a remote area of Mongolia. His mother sacrificed herself to defend his human rights and chose to live in a remote quite area, away from people in order to raise her son peacefully and to protect him from social discrimination. For that purpose, she let her youngest daughter be adopted by another family and left the town to raise her son by engaging in wildlife. As the years rolled by, Jam’s mother unfortunately passed away as she gets old. Jam met a monk at a difficult time when he could not understand or reconcile his mother’s death as a common symptom of Down syndrome and his IQ level. The monk helped Jam by performing the traditional Mongolian ritual of open air burial. The ceremony involved putting a mark on the mother's body in line with the Mongolian nomadic custom, allowing her to recognize it when she is reborn or reincarnated.

His sister who was pregnant when their mother died and five years later, she went to visit Jam with her daughter, at the site his mother had been buried. Jam suddenly spotted his mother’s mark on his niece’s little hand and was overjoyed.

Mr. Battumur Dorj, after graduation from the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture as an actor in 2002, acted in more than 50 stage productions. He has worked in film industry since 2010, has been playing the lead and supporting roles in more than 30 films. In 2011, he produced his first film and until now worked as a producer for a 10 films. His directorial debut Trio was very successful. He wrote the script himself and played the main role himself, driven by the feeling of experiencing the difficult times he experienced himself. With the film "Trio", he aims to establish the connection between mother nature and humanity. Also, the film Trio was released at the headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva, the largest human rights organization, on the 23rd of 2023.
